Image Sorting on the Lister..

Greg S. -

We are nearly done with our new image sorting capability on the lister. Many of you were having issues with this feature, so we have upgraded the software library on this feature. We are currently testing this in our SandBox - We hope to release it as early as tomorrow -- we will update this announcement once it's rolled out.

    Still having issues in Firefox.

I use Firefox and I am still having drag / drop sort issues. My old "workaround" was 1.) Save = update library listing. 2.) Close the listing window. 3.) Open the auction listing again.

This was working until 10:15 pm CST today. Now when I go into the auction listing, the sort feature lets me "drag" 1 picture, but when I "drop" it, the image stays right where I "dropped" it and it appears lighter than the other images. It freezes right where I dropped it and when I try to redrag it, my mouse icon turns from the grab icon to a "No" icon (Like the No smoking sign = a circle with a slash through it).

Found this thread and see that I'm not alone with the drag and dropping issue.   As of last night, I'm having the same problem as the above poster.  I also can't delete existing pictures from a listing most of the time.  I can get a couple deleted, but then it freezes and I have to close and reopen and even then, it still doesn't work some of the time.  Using IE8.

when I go to download an image from my pc the box opens up but freezes on me and will not let me add an image, is anyone else having this problem?

** I am not able to do listings and if I go to the image file and try to download images from my pc the box that opens freezes also.  I've been away from listing for about 1month, is there something new that I should know, i'm reading the forum but I can't seem to find my problem listed.**

    thanks for any help

toni, the freezing may be your virus, firewall or spyware program.  It couls also be a popup blocker.  Also, Java might need updating.  Contact inkFrog by opening a problem.  Up above at top Submit a Request.

Also there is this relatively current thread on issues with the uploader.  Are you using Comcast?  read the thread here

Hi oMoCop, thank you for your reply.

What I finally realized was that I had downloaded Skype and that was the only new download I had done and after doing that

my problem began.   So I uninstalled Skype and my problem was solved.  I don't know why it caused me that problem but at least

*I was able to figure it out,  but it took me a few days of trying so many other things and having no results.   *

oMoCop, I really appreciate  your suggestions  and the link you listed,  Thank you very much.

i have never used lister here. As i do not use my stored images to list anything on ebay or any of its subsidaries. I sincerly hope that they have not been wiped out due to incompitance on the other end. There needs to be a simple way for me to access my images and use them however i please. Before ebay took this site over it wiorked perfectly for my uses, now it has become more and more of a headache to find anything i have here. Let alone add to or use where I want to use them.

Hi Randall, can you explain what you mean by not using our lister? Do you mean you just use our image hosting? or what do you use our tools for?
