What is the difference between Inventory Quantity & Listing Quantity?

inkFrog Support -

When using inventory, you're able to have the entire quantity that you have on hand within the inventory entry for a specific SKU or custom label.

The quantity in the listing is the number of items you will have available for sale in that particular listing on eBay.

You can have multiple listings with varying listings quantities available that are tied to the same SKU number in order to keep track of the inventory quantity.

Here is an example:

Inventory SKU: 8202014

Inventory Quantity: 40

SKU 8202014 is being used on a currently live auction and this listing quantity is 1

SKU 8202014 is being used on a currently live fixed priced listing and this listing quantity is 9

In inventory it would show that you have 40 in stock, 30 available to list, and 10 live.

If you sold 1 of the items on the fixed priced listing, inventory would be adjusted and then show that you have 39 in stock, 30 available to list, 9 live, and 1 sold.
