eBay Notification issue causing problems with live, unsold, and sold listings

Hi everyone, eBay is having issues with their end of item notifications (and their update notifications). Our system uses these to keep your listings accurate and up to date. For example, when a listing closes and is unsold, we receive a notification/notice from eBay. Our system then knows to move your 'live' listing to your 'unsold' section.  Because eBay is not sending many of these notices, we can't update your lists. This may affect your live, unsold, and sold listings "lists" inside inkFrog (meaning, they will show incorrectly).

eBay's notifications are an extremely important part of our system. We hope they have it resolve shortly and will continue to check with them (and bug them) to get the issue resolved.

If you need to update your lists to relist items or better manage them, contact support and they can 'synch' them.

    Items listed fron inkfrog isn't showing up on eBay store. Is this an IF bug? Or is it eBay?

    ebay has fixed this issue but they are still delayed and catching up -- you can try having support to synch your account again and it should solve it.

    It must NOT be fixed yet..my unsold items are NO WHERE to be found on Inkfrog!!!

    My refesh button does nothing but tells me it could take about 5 minutes and then nothing happends. Even after having support manually synch my listings, I still had auction style listings that had sold in my unsold folder. I really have had to cut back my auctions these last few days because I dont know what is correct and I am worried about just relisting items. Has this really been fixed?

    Now listings that have just ended are in my unsold folder but say they are still live with the inventory boxes(listings ending 3/24), but when I search live listings they are not. But what happens when I relist them, is it going to show that I have twice as many listed? I really dont want my inventory numbers messed up. How long before things synch up. I am use to just being able to relist items as soon as they end, but now I dont know if I should...

    What is wrong with the shipping calculator?? I went to make a new global and now its not calculating the shipping its stuck. I went to do all my relist and change the shipping to free and well guess what The shipping won't calculate its just stuck. Now what inkfrog, You are so loosing me soon if you don't fix your stuff.

    I just switch browsers and it works fine on Chrome but not on Firefox. So go figure. I better stick with the chrome when working with inkfrog.

    I'm having the same problem as sunshine. I click the refresh button, it tells me it could take up to 5 minutes but I've waited as much as 15 and nothing.

    The other problem I've had is that since my inkfrog listings were not current I went and relisted several items via eBay. When things finally caught up about 6 hours later, my auto relist kicked in and relisted them again; with a rather inconvenient 1AM auction end time. I went in and cancelled those, but have been charged listing fees by eBay for those auctions. Hopefully I'll be able to revoer those since this is an issue on their end.

    I still am having issues with my listings linking with ebay. My refresh button still doesn't do anything and I don't even have one in my sold folder, only in live and unsold and neither work. I am trying to leave feedback for items that I have already prepared to ship and the listings still nowhere to be found in my sold listing. And my unsold listings and still saying they are live as they end. I am not sure how long it takes to update because I dont have time to sit around and watch them. How long do we have to wait before things start working right again? After this week with all this and ebay, I seriously feel like my head is going to explode.

    Helloooooooooooo???  Anyone at Inkfrog have any updates they care to share with all of us who have been waiting for days now(or is it a week?) why we still can't operate our accounts at 100%??  The loss of income this snafu has caused all of us selling thru Inkfrog rightfully so has every seller upset.  Patience is a virtue, but............enough is enough, this needs to be fixed!

    Hello, we have been told by eBay that this issue is slowly being resolved. We are still seeing notifications slowed and not working perfectly. The 'refresh' button that you guys use may now take longer than the 5 minutes, because many users are refreshing and they get sent into a queue. We are working on a permanent fix and hope to have it by this weekend.

    Can you all give me more specifics of what exact issues you are having? Is it your live listings that aren't synched? Unsold? Or just sold or ? All specifics will help us as we are continuously working to rebuild our systems so they aren't dependent on eBay's notifications.

    You wanted specifics: so as of today it appears that I am still getting sold auctions showing up in my unsold folder. My live listings are delayed when they end. My sold folder is delayed quite frequently. My refresh button does nothing, I dont even get to a queue ever . I keep having to have them manually synch my listings each night. When listings do end and show up in my unsold folder, the inventory portion says they are still live, so I am afraid to just relist them because I am afraid it will screw up my inventory. I dont know how long it takes to catch up, because I have not had the time to sit around and wait for it. So those are the specifics for me.

    To piggyback onto sunshine221's post, I too am finding that my inventory numbers seem to take a long time to catch up with reality, although eventually they do synch.  My Unsold list matches my Unsold list on eBay, so that seems right.  I still find Unsolds that are marked "live" even though they aren't, but eventually they straighten out.  Just not used to the delay, I guess, and I get too impatient. 

    I've been giving everything 24 hours for the past few days; so today I'm working on the unsolds that ended Thursday night instead of last night.  I've got things ending every day, so there's always some to do.  It'll be nice when we feel safe about working on relists immediately again.  Thanks for keeping us posted!

    Yes, we are aware that there is a 'delay' in this now, and we are working on making it near instant, the notifications to use used to come very quickly, and now they are delayed heavily on eBay's side, so we will do what we can do re-work our system so that it works quicker!

    Since this topic was removed from the sign-in page, I assumed it was resolved. Just in case, I started going down my InkFrog unsolds from last night this morning one by one, and lo and behold, just came across the first (I assume there will be more) that was SOLD in my unsolds. I feel so sorry for those of you with thousands of listings. We only have hundreds.

    When can we be assured this situation is behind us? I had to write to two customers just this morning telling them the items they bought and paid for were already sold. I have to pray they won't leave negatives.

    I have a negative from sold items appearing unsold and getting re-listed. Items sold yesterday in unsold today. THIS IS NOT FIXED!!!!!!

    I don't think it is fixed either.  One item a vase showed up in Unsold.  I relisted it.  The relist failed (my error).  Then I relaunched it only to find TWO vases listed.  I only have one.  I quickly ended this one  400198932643.  Everything is okay now but that made me a little wary.  JoyceB

    It sounds like the error may have not been a full error and the original may have launched -- and thus, when you launched it again it caused a duplicate. We've seen this a few times (sometimes eBay's api will error but still launch the item).

    I am still getting delays in my sold folder. I have an item that has been sold and shipped and it still isnt showing up in my sold folder. The item is forever in time photo corners.

    Getting delays again in my sold folder. I thought it was suppose to be pretty instant with the fix. But it is still taking awhile for some itmes to show up.
